St Austell Brewery in the running for best burger in the country crown

A gourmet 100 per cent Cornish beef burger created by St Austell Brewery is in the running to be crowned the best burger in the country after reaching the finals of The Slider Decider competition in London.

St Austell Brewery’s catering development manager Nick Hemming has teamed up with Mark Holmes, head chef at the Shipwrights Inn in Padstow to create the eight-ounce prime Cornish beef burger which will be going up against creations from some of the country’s top chefs in the national competition.

There are various dedicated meeting, conference and seminar facilities at The National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth - including a fully equipped lecture theatre, self contained rooms and waterside café.
